At the start of every session, the wielder of the Void Polyps may choose to consume one to gain a powerful session-long effect at the cost of reducing their elderly start time by 2, to a minimum of 1. For immortals, rather than reducing their elderly start time, it causes the immortal to suffer a 15% chance of death at session end. The Void Polyps may be consumed three times before going away (2 remaining), and may only be replenished fully by a ruler character willing sacrificing themselves at age 0 or 1, before making any mech-rps.
