Once per session, the wielder of the the Chitran Silk Cloak can gain significantly increased chances of success on a single check. This must be decided prior to the roll being made. However, when this is done, the wielder gains negative karma equal to half the total roll. Alternatively, for non-ruler characters, they suffer a penalty to a random roll equal to half the total roll.
