The wielder of the Blade of Athabasca increases their Prowess by 1. Additionally, once per session, at the start of a session, they may designate a single character or unit to be their Rival. All rolls to attack, defend, or to duel roll twice and take the higher of the two; and all attacks made as a ruler unit against the Rival ignore all armor. If the unit is not destroyed by the wielder personally, or the Rival does not lose at least one health state due to the wielder directly, the wielder is reduced to Bedridden.
