The user may RP choose to throw The Salamander of T'kaas at an immortal individual, and they have to pass a DC13 Flat Prowess check. If failed, they will immediately transform into a salamander for 1 session. As a Salamander, they suffer a -4 modifier on all RP rolls, they can still talk, walk, and cast magic, and they aren't "made essentially dead" It may have other uses... →
The user may choose to throw the Salamander of T'kaas at an immortal individual, destroying the artifact. By doing so, the immortal must make a DC 15 Prowess check; nothing can be used to reroll this, or change what type of roll it is. If failed, they will immediately transform into a salamander for 1 session. As a Salamander, they suffer a -4 modifier on their next five mech-rp rolls. It may have other uses...
