Once per session, at the start of a duel or war session, the wielder of the Blade of Amel-Dyon may unsheathe it, gaining the following effects for the remainder of the war session or duel:
- Their Cunning, Prowess and Strategy are increased by 2, to a maximum of 6.
- All maneuvers gain slightly increased chances of success.
- During a duel, the wielder may choose to reduce their elderly start time by one session in order to reroll a check, once per check. If this were to reduce the elderly start time of the wielder to zero, they are guaranteed to die at the end of the duel.
After the duel or war session concludes, the wielder reduces their current health state by one.
