Additionally, the wielder of this staff gains moderately increased chances of success when attempting to gather character magic points. → The wielder may spend 1d3 charges to gain a +2 bonus per charge spent on a contested magic check. After a successful Dispel, the wielder gains Character Magic Points equal to a quarter of the mana cost of the spell that was dispelled, rounded up.
