Effect Description:
None → The Lonely Mumbat can be fed by spending any amount of food. Feeding the Lonely Mumbat up to its threshold, determined by its age, will cause it to grow. It's age cannot be slowed, or stopped. Each time the wielder of the Lonely Mumbat rolls (and keeps) a natural 1 on a mech-rp, there is a chance the Lonely Mumbat resets back to a (Pup), noted by it's age. Nothing can cause this to reroll. Cannot be upgraded, or reforged. The wielder of the Lonely Mumbat gains all bonuses of it's prior stages; I.E while at Adolescent, it would have the effects of the Adolescent, Juvenile and Pup stages of growth. (Mundane) (0/10) Pup (0%): +1 to checks involving deserts, heat, thirst, endurance marches, or finding water/shelter. (Mundane) (0/15) Juvenile (5%): +2 to checks involving gathering for food. (Good) (0/25) Adolescent (15%): Gain 1d4 food per session. Gain 3 food per unit killed by the wielder of this artifact's leader unit in a war session. (Great) (0/30) Adult (25%): At the start of a war session, choose one unit: That unit ignores the first instance of Attrition this war session, and gains +1 Defense this war session. If the unit is in or adjacent to desert terrain, it also gains +1 HP (cannot exceed starting HP). (Legendary) (0/40) Mumbat of the Dunes (50%): At the start of a war session, the wielder may summon Mumbat of the Dunes. This unit does not count against unit capacity. (Mythic) The Beast of the Sands (75%): The Mumbat of the Dunes increases in strength significantly. This artifact may be sacrificed by the wielder to create a new artifact of one rarity lower (minimum of mundane) than it was when sacrificed.
