None → A strange race of short gnomish forest dwellers, the bugaboo have a natural gift for illusions, subterfuge, and the secret paths of the world. They often appear where others least expect them, and are known to surprise, surround, and swarm their foes before slipping away.
No bugaboo has ever died of old age. Unfortunately this is due to the growing madness that addles them and worsens over time. This madness drives them to take increasingly dangerous actions until they reach an untimely end. It is not uncommon to see an elder bugaboo attempting to wrestle with a large predator, climb atop a tall tree before attempting to fly, or other dangerous activities
