Hwai

The Hwai are predators, but unlike what many would think a predator acts like, the Hwai are calm, collected and rational. They do not act upon their innate desire to devour and consume. They talk, engage in diplomacy and subterfuge, they do not wish to go to war, neither shed more blood than necessary. The Hwai recognize that their best strength is not their steel but ink. A Hwai is also devoted to the Choir and as such for the greater good of the Hwaitees, his every action has the objective of advancing Hwai society further and leading them to prosperity. They don’t put themselves first because they know that accomplishing the desires of the society is accomplishing their own desires.
