After the seventh Durrani clan betrayed the other three remaining clans, they were betrayed themselves and nearly wiped out. Four clans survived but were devastated by the loss of their relics and the three remaining clans were rightfully disgusted with the seventh clan and cast them out. This seventh clan quickly became enamoured with the material wealth of the outside world. When your entire society is built on surviving in a barren desert, even the meager wealth of a bandit ridden tundra becomes a beacon of luxury and decadence. Members of the seventh clan have no intentions of returning to their dismal homeland and often choose to instead become sailors and travel to far flung places, often as employees of Yosuf's Lumber And Goods, but independent merchant vessels exist.
