Description:
None → Myterious creatures of innate magical power. They take shape in the form of colorful and vibrant jellyfish, capable of treading the skies and shine as stars in the night. And wherever they tread follow a swirling river of green and red lights. Their azure skin is transparent and soft to the touch, their tentacles slow like silk in the wind and feel as them too. In their bell [head] can be seen if only vaguely a glass-like diamond that is vital to their survival, serving a purpose in a similar capacity to both a heart and a brain.
Compared to their regular water-bound brethren the Aubivantes are relatively long lived, with ages capable of matching those of regular humans. They reproduce differently too, with them requiring to build a fleshy plant-like structure similar in function to an incubator in order to produce more of their kin. A difficult task requiring a great amount of energy to produce a mucus that makes up these plants. These living plants are the home to unborn and baby Aubivantes yet unprepared for the world. These incubators can be as tall as the greatest oaks when they are fully filled with their young and could even form vast forests when many are huddled together. It is for this reason they choose to settle in plains areas where these "Living Forests" may flourish.
Contrary to their delicate appearance these Jellyfish are daring and fearless. They are naturally equipped to deal with most threats that they could possibly encounter, and if that were not enough, they bear a fierce intellect. Aubivantes often go scavenging alone for this reason, confident in their capability and in the ruse of their appearance. They're omnivorous creatures, however they much prefer the taste of meat than they do of greens. But when no prey is to be found they wouldn't complain about eating berries and apples.
