Their fear of water stems from an ancient legend passed down through generations: the Ekkros believe that a great flood once nearly wiped out their ancestors, who could not swim well due to their dense fur, which became waterlogged. This event has ingrained a deep-seated fear of large bodies of water in their children, leading them to avoid rivers, lakes, and seas whenever possible. As a result, they have developed their land-based agility to perfection, relying on their speed and stealth to survive.
