The Hitsujinamekuji were born from the sheep slug of the planet's reefs and rivers, evolving towards becoming a hybrid of fauna and flora through the consumption of algae. When they evolved to travel across land, they soon began to eat the plants upon it and take their chloroplasts over the algae’s. Due to this, they gained the ability to grow larger and create new imitation leaves to aid them in photosynthesis. Now, they are a vibrant species of many different colors and shapes thanks to their diverse herbivore diet and many photosynthesizing limbs.
