Skippers:

Titantic flightless avian folk, with distinctive black and white plumage, and streamlined bodies adapted for life between the land and seas. These wild folk average a height of well over eight feet tall, with some reaching upwards of eleven. While it is clear the species once spent a great deal of time in the skies, an ancient tragedy has since grounded them. Well adapted for sliding along ice and snow, they thrive in colder areas far from the equator. While their strict seafood diet restricts their ability to hunt most land-based creatures... it does prevent the use of their incredible teeth.
