Eternal Burden: The ruler(s) of the controlling nation has an elderly start age of 0, which cannot be increased. However, they do not suffer the elderly penalty. All character Magic Production, Storage, Destiny, Title slots and Artifact slots of affected character(s) are transferred to the Wonder itself; only the first character each session generates magic for the wonder. The affected character(s) lose 1 title slot. Their Death Chance is doubled from all sources and cannot be reduced by any means. The owner may pay 1 Food (Per Era) [increased by 1 (2 if they have a positive magic modifier) each time it is used per age] to ignore Stability loss caused by the death of a ruler and to gain +2 to any one stat. This wonder can be targeted by spells that normally target characters, and the primary ruler of the nation benefits from these spells. Spells cast in this way increase their cost by 25%, rounded up. Channeling the Current: - Spells with upkeep may be cast and maintained by the Wonder, drawing on the character’s magic. (this carries over between characters' lives) - Destinies are rolled every 1d4+2 sessions and must be completed before the next destiny is rolled. - Artifacts are equipped by the Wonder. - Titles are held by the Wonder, not the character.
