6a24634214d8cc011a9e7721 races Eidola Update Approved
Founding Nation:
None → None
Description:
None → A strange collection of sand and magic, the Eidola came from seemingly no ancestors. If you were to believe them, their God blessed them with life. These faceless people are made of stone, and identify and speak through holes they drill into themselves, and percussive instruments. These people have no gender, for they have no need for it, they simply carve and animate the others out of the sands they live in. Due to there unusual circumstance of birth, they have no adolescent period, being considered mature, albeit naive the second they are carved. They can range anywhere from 3ft to 10ft depending on how large their carver makes them, and can alter both their size and appearance later in life, either by adding mass or carving it away. Unless mass is added later on, older Eidola acquire a smooth appearance, as they are slowly worn away from time. As an Eidola dies, they quickly dissipate into the sand they were created from, leaving behind nothing but piles of sand.

6a24633114d8cc011a9e771e races Dredré Update Approved
Description:
None → The Dredré are similar to humans - though perhaps with a touch more magical and desert exposure. Dredré are exceptionally lightweight and quick on their feet, allowing them to move easily over almost any terrain. They have longer, pointed ears that they can rotate freely to pinpoint sources of noise while also allowing them to collect water within the air, and a strong sense of smell that helps their tracking endeavors. Their most notable feature, however, is their universal comprehension of language. The Dredré can understand all forms of communication from the time of their birth, including that of plants and animals. This gives them a unique perspective on the natural world, and greatly shapes the cultures they build. Because of this connection with the world, Dredré usually find themselves living more closely with creatures than most other peoples.

6a2462c614d8cc011a9e7718 races Chitran Update Approved
Description:
None → The Chitran are a race of spider-like humanoids, with ten limbs—four arms and six legs—each ending in dexterous, claw-tipped fingers. Their exoskeletal bodies are covered in a fine, chitinous armor, and their eyes, set in clusters, give them an eerie, otherworldly appearance. The Chitran are exceptional crafters and builders, using their multiple arms to weave intricate webs, forge delicate tools, and construct complex structures with precision and speed. Their natural ability to produce silk makes them unrivaled in textile creation and architectural design, often resulting in cities suspended in vast webs. However, the Chitran struggle with communication with other races due to their peculiar spider-like mouths, which are better suited for producing clicking and hissing sounds rather than articulate speech. This makes it difficult for them to learn and speak other languages fluently, often leading to misunderstandings and social isolation. Despite their impressive intelligence and creativity, their unsettling appearance and alien way of speaking often cause other races to view them with suspicion or fear. How unfortunate that Arachnophobia seems to be a universal fear.

6a2462b814d8cc011a9e7717 races Carcuka Update Approved
Founding Nation:
None → None
Description:
None → Carnivorous Cannibalistic Crustaceans; Carcuka A monstrous race of loosely humanoid four-legged crustaceans that inhabit the sandy shorelines of tropical latitudes, known for their insatiable gluttony and semi-aquatic nature. They boast many features known from common crustaceans, though are taxonomically distant from any other living species. Bearing some similarities to lobsters, deep sea crabs, shrimp, and a number of others. Strict carnivores, the Carcuka are predators through and through, with the physiology to match. They are built heavily, carrying thick chitin on dense frames. Carcuka reach adulthood standing anywhere from 6 to 7 feet, continuing to grow even larger throughout their long lives. The largest known Carcuka stood above 11 feet, but few in recent history have neared that number. They have distinctive ruddy orange or sand hued carapaces, asymmetrical claws boasting one very large weaponized claw and a smaller pinching claw for more dexterous work. Their heads are adorned with two pairs of symmetrical resonance chambers that look somewhat like upturned horns, which function as amplifiers for vocalization and displays for attracting mates. Usually weighing around 500lbs at the end of adolescence, and increasing drastically with further growth, they can become quite massive with age. Their faces crowd with countless mouth-bits that are entirely alien and unreadable to most, but they do possess emotive blue, green, or black eyes with very large irises. They molt once every year, and are usually fully recovered from the exhaustive process after a week. The very oldest Carcuka are an exception to this, as the larger you grow the more difficult molting becomes. Death by exhaustion or starvation during molting is the only complication of age the Carcuka experience.

6a2462a614d8cc011a9e7716 races Bugaboo Update Approved
Description:
None → A strange race of short gnomish forest dwellers, the bugaboo have a natural gift for illusions, subterfuge, and the secret paths of the world. They often appear where others least expect them, and are known to surprise, surround, and swarm their foes before slipping away. No bugaboo has ever died of old age. Unfortunately this is due to the growing madness that addles them and worsens over time. This madness drives them to take increasingly dangerous actions until they reach an untimely end. It is not uncommon to see an elder bugaboo attempting to wrestle with a large predator, climb atop a tall tree before attempting to fly, or other dangerous activities

6a24628814d8cc011a9e7714 races Bambai-Nekeg Update Approved
Description:
None → The Bambai-Nekeg are a large, insectoid people. Their build is somewhere between a rhino beetle and a praying mantis, with massive outer carapaces and a set of arms suited for quickly grabbing prey (they have two sets of arms: one for hunting, one for grabbing and fine motor work). While they naturally eat meat, their digestive systems aren’t built to handle it unassisted. To supplement their digestion, Bambai-Nekeg eat stones to help break down their food. Over time, the metal in the stones they consume collects in their shell, making them into walking fortresses as they grow older. This does make it difficult for them to run quickly, and degrades their ability to fly as they age. Bambai-Nekeg have three reproductive sexes, all of which are required to create children: one creates the eggs, one inseminates them, and one incubates. This means that romantic relationships tend to form in triads - usually the same triads that hunt together.
